A Christmas Slideshow for You

December flew by with a trip to Sapphire, NC with our good friends Ben and Crystal, then a visit from the Hogue family and a visit with the Sublette family. It all went way too fast and we had SO MUCH FUN. It has been a little sad now that it is all over, but we are looking forward to coming to Texas sometime in the spring. Here are some pics from the fastest month of 2008.

And I also just realized that I was tagged by my sister way back in Dec. So if you haven't given up on me yet....

8 things I did today
1. Went to Old Navy to check out their 50% off already clearance items (thanks Kimberly!)
2. Went to Michael's to get stuff for Maddox's playroom
3. Read some books to Maddox
4. Enjoyed listening to Maddox trying to sing with me when I was putting him down for his nap
5. UPDATED THE BLOG - Yea for me!
6. Ordered some presents that were long overdue.
7. Worked on Life Group stuff
8. Sent some e-mails

8 of my favorite restaurants
1. Oak
2. Posados
3. Dickey's (Note #2 and 3 we don't have in SC so count yourself lucky Texans!)
4. Mellow Mushroom
5. Texas Roadhouse
6. Chick-fil-A
7. Chili's
8. Outback

3. The Office
4. Private Practice
5. 30 Rock
6. Prison Break

8 Things I wish for
1. A trip to Texas soon
2. That Maddox will be close to his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. even though we live far away
3. To keep a cleaner house
4. For Life Groups to grow and succeed
5. Another vacation! fun times
6. To be a good teacher, friend, example and Mom for Maddox
7. Warm weather to return (I know it is Jan. but that is why I live in the south!)
8. Friends to always be close by

8 Things I look forward to
1. A trip to Texas soon
2. getting my Smith family cookbook
3. Starting gymnastics with Maddox on Wed.
4. Retiring to the "Man room" every night (basically to fall asleep in the recliner!)
5. Hopefully going to Charles Towne landing this Sat. with Caisson and Maddox
6. Seeing the plantations with my visitors pass
7. The new Jodi Picoult book in March (I wait a year for these things!)
8. Getting Maddox up from his naps - he dances in his crib for 10 minutes. so funny.

There you go! Have a good week!

The Christmas slideshow was precious. We can hardly stand to be away from you all, but at least we get to see you and that sweet sweet little boy on the internet. We love you.

I LOVE Jodi Picoult!!! I didn't know you were a fan. Yeah, can't wait for the new one in March either. We should discuss after finishing it.
